Rudozem Street Dog Rescue from Bulgaria was contacted regarding a stray who needed urgent assistance. The team quickly responded and discovered that the puppy was in an extremely emaciated state, barely clinging onto life. It was heart-wrenching for them to witness the suffering of the poor animal.
The young pup was in desperate need of immediate attention if there was any hope of pulling through. The harsh realities of life on the streets had left their mark on her both mentally and physically.
Despite her limitations, Khaleesi always endeavored to do her best, even though she struggled to be self-sufficient. However, if by chance she was able to survive the first night, Khaleesi would still have a challenging path ahead of her.
Once Khaleesi regained some energy, her caretakers gave her a much-needed bath. Despite the hardships she had faced, she was grateful for any show of love and kindness.
Regular visits to the vet were necessary, but Khaleesi always remained willing and cooperative. Once she had received all of her vaccinations…
She had her broken leg protected with a beautiful cast, which uplifted her spirits. The pain on her face started to subside, making her feel much better. Her fur was gradually growing back to its former glory. It wasn’t long before she regained her lost appetite and started eating heartily again.
