The story began when a young lady noticed a puppy that was abandoned by its owner on a bridge made of wood. The puppy’s name was Aqui, and he was lucky enough to be saved by Isabella. She took him to her home and gave him all the help he needed.
However, the traumatic experience of Aqui did not conclude with his rescue. Isabella got a text message from the person who originally shared about Aqui on social media, claiming that the previous owner had poured boiling water on him, resulting in a scar on his back. Despite all the pain, Aqui’s health was stable, and he received his vaccinations. Eventually, he was prepared to join other abandoned puppies in a shelter.
Under the attentive care of Isabella, Aqui thrived and quickly became a beloved resident of the sanctuary. With his playful nature, he was known for pranking the other pups. Over time, he received frequent check-ups from the vet and plenty of affection.
On January 14th, 2023, Aqui was welcomed by a warm and affectionate family who took the responsibility of providing him with a permanent home. The authorities were alerted about the two other adult dogs found in the abusive owner’s residence. The owner was held accountable for animal cruelty, and pledged not to keep any animals in the future.
The tale of Aqui is a powerful reminder that numerous animals are left alone and ignored, in need of our support. However, by simply showing them affection and attention, we can transform their lives and provide them with the joyful conclusion they deserve.
